Vaginal Rejuvenation for Tighter Vagina and Enhanced Sexual Gratification

When a woman's vagina muscles become very relaxed, the muscle tone strength and control are lessened. A cosmetic surgical procedure called vaginal rejuvenation is used to repair structural problems or defects in the vagina. Vaginal Rejuvenation Procedure

A laser surgery for vaginal rejuvenation is done as an outpatient procedure using local anesthesia and sedation or it can be done using general anesthesia. Depending on the amount of vaginal relaxation and whether both the bottom and top muscles will be rejuvenated, the procedure can last up to about two hours. A specially designed laser is used to perform the vaginoplasty and it is the tool that does all of the necessary cutting. The surgeon will place sutures in specific places in order to help tighten the vaginal muscles. After the surgery has been completed, she will often be required to stay in a recovery area for an hour or two before being released to go home. A traditional surgery is done in a similar fashion except without the laser being used for the incisions.

Vaginal Rejuvenation Contraindications

Vaginal rejuvenation is not recommended for women who plan to have future pregnancies, because the pregnancy could relax the muscle walls; she should wait until she is finished bearing children for this procedure. People who have diabetes, heart problems, issues with blood clotting, or other serious health issues should not have a vaginoplasty. Smokers must quit smoking for at least 3 weeks before having surgery, and should stay smoke free for at least 3 weeks afterwards.

Vaginal Rejuvenation Price

Depending on the location, cost can vary from $4500 to $9000 for the vaginal rejuvenation procedure. Costs will include surgeon's fees, costs for the facility, anesthesia, and other associated costs. The procedure can cost more depending on the amount of treatment that is required and the length of time needed for treatment.

Vaginal Rejuvenation Complications

Some of the risks associated with surgery may include excessive bleeding, infection, allergic reaction to the anesthesia, and the risk of scarring. Vaginal rejuvenation risks include the rare incidence of semi-permanent or permanent numbness and issues with the vaginal tissues and muscles. A vaginoplasty is a relatively new procedure and long-term effects are not totally knows at this time.
